Standard Residency
Applications are open to all artists (ceramists, fine-arts, crafts, design, sculpture, architecture, filmmakers) seeking an opportunity to present and realize a project in a rich cultural environment. Artists who have been working independently for at least two years may apply for an individual residential work period in A.I.R. Vallauris.
On admission, artists are provided with a private bedroom and workspace. The residence is equipped with a common kitchen for food preparation as well as a common dining area. Internet access is available from your own material through a WiFi connection.
Work studios offer facilities for working in clay including wheels, electric kilns, slab roller, glazing booth, and painting.
There are several different residency phases throughout the year. An exhibition at the end of the residency phase gives the artists an opportunity to showcase their works created in residence to the local population.
2024 – 2025 program
The upcoming application deadline for the Standard Residency program is: September 30th, 2024. Applications are reviewed and scheduled during the week following the deadline. We accept applications year-round.

As we give priority according to application dates, we encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible. The application materials can be requested and submitted by email. Information concerning the costs of the programme are further elaborated in the application form.

About Culture Moves Europe Opportunity
Thanks to the European Union program Culture Moves Europe, A.I.R. Vallauris is pleased to announce the possibility of funded residency in 2025 for individuals legally residing in one of the 40 Culture Moves Europe countries. Please note that artists must apply for these competitive grants. The following sessions would qualify for this funding :
Standard Residency (up to 70% of fees covered)
